
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
Emotional Freedom Technique ( EFT) or "tapping" is a gentle yet powerful tool for releasing stress, anxiety and overwhelm. It works by focusing your awareness on a specific issue ( like a difficult emotion, memory or belief) whilst tapping gently on specific acupressure points on the face and upper body. This process helps to calm the nervous system, reduce cortisol ( your stress hormone ) and ease the emotional intensity.

This process of tapping signals to the brain that you are safe, calming the fight or flight response and diffusing the emotional charge behind the issue. As a result this often gives a new sense of clarity and perspective.

EFT is evidence based, gentle, simple and effective. It can help with changing limiting beliefs, if you're feeling stuck or triggered, or if you're simply ready to let go of something emotional that has been weighing you down.
