Yoga Classes

Yoga is an ancient practice combining physical postures (asanas), breath awareness and mindfulness. It offers a wide range of physical, mental and emotional benefits including increased strength and flexibility, improved breathing, sleep and circulation, as well as stress reduction. Yoga is for everyone and can be tailored to all fitness levels, ages and abilities.

I am a certified Hatha and Yin yoga teacher. My teaching blends breath, gentle flow and moments of stillness to help you reconnect with your body and calm the noise of every day life.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha yoga is a gentle and grounding style of yoga that focuses on balancing the body and mind through movement and breath. It's a great practice for all levels especially beginners, because it allows you to move at a slower, more mindful pace whilst building strength, flexibility and inner awareness. In my Hatha classes we explore postures and breathing techniques to help you feel calm and centered.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a slow and deeply restorative practice which helps you to soften, release and connect to yourself and your breath. This practice is very helpful for calming stress and anxiety.

 

In my Yin classes we hold each posture for several minutes, often supported by props, allowing time for the body and mind to release tension. It's a beautiful practice for slowing down and turning your attention inwards.

I run 1 to 1 classes as well as small group classes which will be tailored to your needs.
